TRIBUTE TO VEN. OBINNA IBEZIM (Ph.D)

Fading away like the stars of the morning Losing their light in the glorious sun Thus would we pass from the earth and its toiling Only remembered by what we have done

You will be remembered by the joy and peace you brought into families

You will be remembered by the love you shed abroad.

You will be remembered for your soft spokeness.

You will be remembered by your practicality of marriage.

You will be remembered by your good neighbourliness.

You will be remembered by the smiles you put on people’s faces.

You will be remembered by your words of encouragement.

You will be remembered by the souls you quietly led to Christ.

You are not dead: you are resting from life’s turmoil.

May the mercy of God grant you eternal rest.

Sir Paul & Lady Ndidi Nwagba

Tribute to a great Daddy

Daddy, I received the news of your death with shock. The 14th day of April, 2023 should not rejoice with other days of this year because it brought nothing good for us. Dad, you were kind, caring, friendly and accommodating. How can I forget the 25th day of May, 2014 the day I took my first Bible lesson, after service you blessed me, prayed for me and told my parents I would be great and that I would be a priest of which I accepted with faith. My consolation is in "Psalms 116:15" "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints". It is a privilege to know you and the honor is mine. In the words of Awonoor- Williams "Death has made war upon our house. The things so great that I cannot weep. My right arm is broken. The firewood of this life is for only those who can take heart". Rest in the Bossom of the Lord till we meet to part no more.

Sleep well daddy,

Good night my teacher

People's Venerable

Late Venerable Obinna Ibezim. He was the People's Venerable. Ezeoke people, should know that Death awaits everyone. They should endure. The Aba Diocesan Bishop, the Lord shall strengthen him. Obinna, was a good English teacher and he and all that knew him must miss the system by which he impacted wisdom and knowledge to those who came to him. Obinna was a gentle Christian Priest. Thank God, preferment never got into his head.

A gentle Christian Priest is indeed gone to be with his Christ, who he loved and served till Death. The wife and kids must not forget that. God is indeed the Father and Husband of Father less.

When peace like a river attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my Lots, thou hast taught me to say it is well with my soul. For the enemy came to steal, to kill, and to destroy, but you came that we may have life and have it more abundantly...Too hard to say goodbye daddy...Rest in peace and Rise in glory...

From DIVINE.

MY TRIBUTE TO A VENERABLE PER EXCELLENCE

The news and reality of your passing away to the great beyond remains a shock to me, having discussed extensively with you about the future just a week time. I don't really know why it must be now. Missing you makes life tasteless to me. Knowing you brought a holistic transformation into my life. Rest in peace my hero and mentor.
