A GENTLEMAN, SERVANT OF THE MOST HIGH AND DEAR BROTHER, TAKES AN EARLY FLIGHT HOME!
Whenever I think about Obi like I fondly call him, I remember his bright dimpled smile. He had one for everybody he met along the way. I also remember his faith, soothing, steady, reassuring. I imagine him at this moment saying “Nwanyi bekee…it is well; God is still God” and inviting us to pray. My heart bleeds at the Thought of never seeing him on this side of creation. But as I look back and remembers the life that he led, I know he is smiling down at us with his signature smile telling us that God is in control. Obi was a devoted son, a supportive brother, a loving husband, a great daddy not only to his children but to his nieces, nephews, cousins and flock, an amazing uncle, and a very dear friend. Although he has left an unbearable void, he left us a part of him that neither me nor even his death can ever take away. What makes it bearable is knowing that Obi served God faithfully, prepared for a me like this and left us with a lifetime of wonderful memories. Obi exuded strength, warmth, and kindness. He appreciated every effort and would beam in happiness over a simple, seemingly insignificant gift.
To all of us who knew him, he was always there for us. Indeed, each me we travelled home to Ezeoke, Obi and Nne would drive over from Aba to be with us in a heartbeat. It seemed all so effortless. One man mentioned someone... VIEW FULL TRIBUTE

My amazing Uncle OBINNA
Uncle Obi, till now I still find it so hard, so so hard to believe that you are gone! How! I am still in doubt! My amazing Uncle, I really miss you. So if I come on holiday again in your house, I won’t see you. If you are really gone uncle, then God took you home and I know He will comfort us all. I love you Uncle Obi!

TRIBUTE TO A SERVANT OF GOD
1. Fading away like the stars of the morning,
Losing their light in the glorious sun—-
Thus would we pass from the earth and its toiling,
Only remembered by what we have done.
Only remembered, only remembered,
Only remembered by what we have done ;
Thus would we pass from the earth and its toiling,
Only remembered by what we have done.
2. Shall we be missed, though by others succeeded,
Reaping the fields we in spring-me have sown?
Yes, but the sowers must pass from their labors,
Ever remembered by what they have done.
3. Only the truth that in life we have spoken,
Only the seed that on earth we have sown;
These shall pass onward when we are forgotten,
Fruits of the harvest and what we have done.
4. Oh, when the Saviour shall make up His jewels,
When the bright crowns of rejoicing are won,
Then shall His weary and faithful disciples
All be remembered by what they have done.
I woke up with this song on the last day of submitting this tribute and I felt this is the best way to mourn your demise! Rudest shock ever, still speechless, but I take solace only in the lord! I will never mourn like an unbeliever. God is still God, ever Faithful, ever sure!
Bro Obi, KEEP RESTING IN THE BOSOM OF THE LORD!

TRIBUTE TO MY DEAR BROTHER OBINNA
Obi, you touched so many lives and will be sorely missed. Now that you’ve gone to be with the Lord, I look back and remember the great life that you lived, though it was for too short a time. The pain of your loss is indescribable. Whenever I think about you, I remember your bright angelic smile and kind, calm disposition. For as long as I have known you, you were always cool, calm and collected.
Although you are no longer physically with us, you will forever remain in our hearts and your spirit and memory will always be felt. Thank you for coming into our lives and enriching all of us with your intellect, warmth, counsel and candid prayers. You were always so kind and supportive; a dependable pillar of a brother, an amazing person that showed us all how to live life to the fullest yet give generously to others. You will always be remembered for your love and devotion to God and kindness to others. You were God sent, taken away from us too soon but we celebrate your life and rejoice knowing that you are now in heaven.
The world will truly never be the same without you Obi but we will hold your memory close to our hearts until we meet again to never part.
May your kind, gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
Your Big Brother
Frank
