Adieu Mummy

The day i got a call of Your demise I was scattered but God knows it all.You were truest, dearest, just like a mother to me. You were previous a gift from God; so much beauty, love, grace and patient you possessed. You touched my heart in so many ways and you will be strongly missed. The vacuum you left behind will be difficult to fill. Sleep on mama till we meet to part no more.

Dear Pst. Kel and Family,

I remember the first day I met your Mum. Not in person but through the stories you told of and about her that Sunday afternoon.

As we sat in your car for hours gisting about growing up and our mothers, I was introduced to a Woman who was beautiful in more ways than just the physical.

Your Mum that you introduced to me was warm, funny and a Woman who is well loved and loving.

Getting the news of her demise was shocking beyond words. That day, I grieved for a Woman who I looked forward to meeting if only to glimpse from her wealth of knowledge.

I cannot pretend to understand what and how you feel, I can only imagine, and there are no words strong enough to replace the warmth safety of a Mother's embrace or the assurance her presence gives.

All I can say is, keep her memories in your heart, smile for the gift of her person and in those moments that will come in the future where you'd wish she was there; remember that she'd be happy for you.

As Christians, we are not without hope as we know that someday, we shall meet with our loved ones to part no more.

Rest On Ma'm till we meet again.

Adieu.

Tony and Divine Eze.

Dear Pst. Kel and Family,

Warm greetings of Grace, comfort and peace to you in the fellowship of Christ our King.

It was with shock that we received the news of your Mother, Mrs Nonye Philomena Chijioke's transition to glory. The Staff and Church Family of House On The Rock Abakaliki including myself and Chioma extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family on this recent transition.

We cannot even begin to imagine how trying this time must be for you. As we stand with your family in this season, we encourage you, your father Mr. Hyacinth Nelson Chijioke, Siblings and The entire Chijioke family to do what we have often had to do ourselves;wipe the tears when they prevent us from seeing the possibilities that still exist tomorrow, to smile even when we feel numb;reflect on the precious moments we were privileged to share with her and the preciius gift that she was; and above all.... just keep going on.

At times like this, words may often sound empty, however, be assured of our continued prayers. We know that our God, the God of all comfort will wrap you and your family in the warmth of his embrace and touch you in areas only He can reach.May God grant you the strenght and grace to keep going forward throuh this difficult season.

God Bless You.

Sincerely,

Bright and Chioma Edada.

Sleep Well Mum

It's so hard to believe that you are no longer with us. I never knew that the last phone conversation was a good bye.

Yes death is inevitable but it's so painful that you did not live to achieve all the plans nor seeing us carry out your advices.

We will surely miss you and all your words of encouragement. Our only consolation is that you are resting in the bossom of the Lord.

Sleep Well Mum until we meet to path no more.

Aunty mi GA IJE GI NKE OMA. I LOVE YOU

Aunty mi, you were a precious gift from God to my uncle and all our family. You had so much beauty, grace, love, patience and LAUGHTER, you laughed so much because you were a happy person and made all around you happy. Growing up with you in your home and learning so much from you helped me to become who I am today. My only regret is that things are not yet in place for me to appreciate you. When George called to tell me about your death, I said God forbid, I couldn't believe it, I had to call Naza, Ezzy, Kelvin and Ginika and they confirmed it. May God rest your precious soul.

I will miss you dearly

I was in camp when i heard about your departure and it caught me off guard. It made me relive the passing of my own Mum. I still can't believe you are not in this world anymore. Although we only met once, we have talked on the phone several times and it always made me smile to hear your voice, but now I won't be able to hear your voice again and I feel really sad. Your family are very blessed to have had you in their lives. And we will cherish every momemt. We will miss you terribly but God alone knows why He took you. I Love You. Till we meet again.

TRIBUTE TO A FALLEN FRIEND

TRIBUTE TO A FALLEN FRIEND MRS NONYE PHILOMENA CHIJIOKE.

We write this with great sadness over the unimaginable loss of Nonye. She was just 60.

This beautiful friend of a woman was not only a friend to my husband and I but even to my children.

One of her beliefs in life was the importance of being authentic with people, saying what needs to be said because it's good for the relationship and for the soul.

We always admired how she never judged or force her opinions on anyone, but offered valuable and truthful advice.

Nonye was a wonderful mother to her children and laid a strong foundation for them at all cost.

Her beautiful spirit will live on through her children and we know they will always know how much she loved them, but God called her, and she had to go.

Therefore Ezinwa and her siblings Kasie nu. Unu ebena akwa ka ndi n enwero olile Anya.

May Our creator console you and May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

TRIBUTE TO A GOOD MOTHER

Hope I made you proud. ..... ????

I miss you more than these words could ever say

The pain in my heart is from one unimaginable day

After I cried all that I could; my eyes still shed countless more tears

And when I try to sleep, I have nightmares of ten-thousand fears

I walk in footsteps on an unsure path

My load feels so heavy I am not sure I will last. ???? #RipMother

...With the angels

I know a GOOD woman when

Her grandchildren speaks so fondly of her and boast of her goodness and 'goodies' to the envy of their peers and teachers.

Her husband talks passionately about her.

Her children adores;A great support system in this era of self-centred lifestyle.

A Good woman is now

With the angels.

Rest In Peace.

A MOTHER HAS BEEN TRANSLATED

Mother. Quite an enormous one to try describing with words. To lose one is unimaginable, and one so young is just heartbreaking.

The few times I have met this good mother showed her amazing nature. Her love and the length she would go for her children was obvious and its painful to think that she'll leave at this point.

Well, as difficult as it may be, she is surely in a better place. This is not death, but a translation to a place of no sorrows where we hope to meet on the resurrection morning.

Therefore, so long dear mama. Good night dear mama.
