Greatest Role Model (Prof. M.O. Edoga)
You were a beacon and an inspirator. You inspired me to see opportunities in learning and mentoring others. Am forever grateful for guiding me from the first day of work at the university.
I saw a father and a leader in you which propelled me to where I am today. You gave my career a deeper meaning.
Though you are no more but your legacies remain as a guide to all who were closed to you. Missing you is an under-statement but I know we shall one day meet to path no more.

A TRIBUTE TO A HERO
This ever-ready-to-help erudite Professor was uniquely different. The legacies he left behind will live on for decades. His doggedness to position and re-position Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), AE-FUNAI will never be forgotten.
I will never forget you and I will always do my best to live up to your expectations.
Rest in peace Prof.
Chief Odii (as he always called me).

A Hero that always defended his subjects
Ur loss is irreparable. We miss u Prof. The little time I walked closely with u revealed u were a great man, a man of the people, a man who never believed in giving up.
Am glad u left positive legacies. U were not perfect, yes, we know but u were one of the finest many of us in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology met. May your rugged but gentle soul continue to rest in peace, amen.
I miss u Prof.

Life
Your sudden passing, another painful reminder of just how fleeting this life is, here today gone tomorrow. We are taught to embrace change but at times like this it becomes very difficult.
I would have loved for things to remain as they were and have you still here with us, but then again such is this life.
I pray to see you again in the place bigger than life itself.
Adieu our Prof, gone but never forgotten...

THE VANITY OF LIFE
It was really a privilege to have worked with him for those few years.
Just like he was fondly called by friends "MIGHTY", he was indeed mighty, though small in nature. Edoga was a man that believed that there is nothing practically impossible. He was a man who appreciated hard work, very courageous that he was not afraid of anybody when he would believe in a goal; he was a good motivator.
In addition, he was orator as he would hold us in the Faculty meeting for over 5 hours just because of the many stories he would tell. For everything that will happen in Engineering, he had a story to tell.
My encounter with him encouraged my world view that there is nothing impossible as long as I believe.
Prof. Edoga, little did I know you will leave us soon but our consolation is that you are resting in the Lord.
May your soul rest in peace.
