TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED SISTER-IN-LAW, NGOZI BESSIE ADIMORA

Ngo, I loved you dearly and shall continue to love you. I am utterly shattered by your passing and it still feels unreal to me.

You were more than a sister-in-law to me. You were my trusted friend, confidant, bestie and personal person. You were an amazing woman, endowed with peace, grace, kindness, humility, modesty, loyalty and reliability.

You were someone that would support and stick with a friend or loved one through thick and thin. I remember when I lost my husband in the year 2022, you were with me before, during and after the funeral. You accompanied me to the village for his interment, when others were afraid to go, because of the ethnic crisis and flood disaster there.

Your hospitality was second to none. Each time we visited Uga, you made sure we were comfortable and well cared for. You were indeed a blessing to our family.

Ngo, as we grieve over your death and bid you farewell, we are comforted, knowing that you are in a better place and we will meet again on resurrection morning.

May the best of your memories live on in the hearts of all your loved ones.

Rest on, my dearest Ngo. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Chiko Ifeanyi

TRIBUTE TO A BELOVED SISTER-IN-LAW

Ngọ, Just as your name goes, you were a blessing in life. Born as a bundle of love to the Nwoyes, you evolved into a precious woman, wife, mother and a pillar in our family. Now, in death, we are blessed with the wounds you left us to bear. Those wounds make us ponder what this life would have been without Jesus.

It's indeed so hard to think that we won't see you again on this side of Time. But since The Mighty Angel from Heaven has announced that time be no longer, we are certain that this "Curtain of Time" has now blended with Eternity. That means that lovedones on both sides of the divide will soon be reunited in that timeless realm where there shall be no more death.

In the meantime, we press on.

We shall seriously miss your physical presence. We shall miss your love, care, kindness and all that you are to us. We can only comfort our grieving hearts with those inspired words of Appostle Paul in 1Thesselonians 4:13-18.

Take your rest sister until we meet in the morning.

Chike Adimora

In loving memory of my dear Aunt, Mrs. Ngozi Adimora

As I bid farewell to a truly remarkable soul, I cherish the memories of a woman whose kindness knew no bounds. Aunt Ngozi graced our lives with her gentle spirit, her unwavering strength, and her remarkable grace.

Auntie, your soft-spoken voice carried wisdom and comfort to all who had the privilege of hearing it. In your nurturing embrace, we found solace and encouragement, for you possessed a rare gift of nurturing hearts and soothing souls.

Aunt Ngozi, your legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those you touched. May your children find peace and strength in the memories of your enduring love, and may they be comforted by the knowledge that you are watching over them from above.

As I mourn your loss, I also celebrate the beautiful life you lived and the profound impact you had on each of us. May your gentle spirit continue to inspire us, and may your memory be a blessing to all of us. Your death reminds us that life is fleeting and we will all one day come before Yaweh, Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge.

Lord God, in your mercy, please grant Aunt Ngozi eternal rest, and may the light of Your countenance shine upon her. Comfort her children in their time of grief, and surround them with your love and grace. Give them strength to endure and peace to find solace in the cherished memories of their beloved mum.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

BIOGRAPHY OF LATE MRS NGOZI BESSIE ADIMORA

Mrs. Ngozi Bessie Adimora was born March 8, 1953 at Gboko, in Gboko LGA, Benue State, Nigeria. She is the 1st child of Late Pa. Wilfred and Florence Nwoye of Awarasi Village in Uga, in Aguata Local Government Area, of Anambra State.

Her early childhood and primary education started out in Gboko and Central School Ufuma shortly before the outbreak of the Nigerian civil war, and like that of many other children and families was truncated in May 1967 when the Nigerian civil war broke out. When the war was over, Ngo subsequently gained admission into Girls Secondary School, Onitsha (1969-1973). She will later enroll at Teachers Training College, Adazi (1973 - 1975) where she obtained her teaching certificate. Her love for education encouraged her to pursue further learning at Anambra State College of Education Awka where she obtained her NCE (1983 – 1986) and went further to University of Nigeria Nsukka (1989 – 1993) where she obtained her B.Ed. Degree in Education.

Ngo eventually became a teacher, and was employed by Anambra State Civil Service in 1975 rising through her successful career from a class room teacher to become a substantive headmaster and retired after 35 years of service in 2010. Due to her diligence, performance and quality of service delivery, the Anambra State Government through the former Governor Mr. Peter Obi appointed her as the Educational Secretary of Aguata Local Government Area in 2014, and she was reappointed by former Governor Chief Willie Obiano in 2015, after the team was dissolved, a position she successfully occupied for 4 years and finally retired in 2019.

Early in 1981, Ngo met the love of her life, her beloved husband Rev. Ugochukwu Adimora from the Adimora family of Umueze Village in Uga and on the 19th of December 1981, they were married at the St. Stephen Anglican Church, Asaba. They are blessed with three wonderful children; Dr. Nnamdi Adimora, Mrs. Adaugo Uzoigwe and Ms. Chinyere Adimora with the added blessings of seven grandchildren and a host of other foster children.

She was a true mother, loving grand-mother, leader, and a pastor’s wife, gentle, kind, loving, humble and very generous. She was full of Kindness and human compassion. Her life epitomized sacrifice and she served God devotedly with everything she had. She touched so many lives through her various acts and deeds and gave her best to living a decent and purposeful Christian Life. For her, nothing was too great to sacrifice for peace, family and true friendship.
