TRIBUTE TO MY SISTER-IN-LAW, NGOZI BESSIE ADIMORA

I bring the offerings of profound affection and peace

To a woman of immense strength, love and peace

A quiet and beautiful woman with graceful manners

A wife, mother, grandmother and sister-in-law extraordinaire;

You who walked on this earth with gentleness and gracefulness

Always at the service of God and your beloved family,

You loved us, just as we loved you, unconditionally,

Your style was meekness, your nature loving and reassuring,

You lived a fulfilled life, marked by beauty and loyalty,

Farewell for now, our beloved Ngo. Jee nkeoma, Nwayioma.

Merciful God, grant us the grace and the courage

To bear this irreparable loss, and to remember with joy

That one day we’ll all gather at the Beautiful River

To cross over to the home of light and love prepared for us

Where there is no death, no sorrow and no sickness,

Where we’ll all meet again in oneness and in bliss

To know You truly and perfectly, as we are known.

A tribute to an amazing mother-inlaw

Dear mom, it's with a broken heart I write this..Words really fail me because I didn't see this coming any time soon..

It really breaks me because you only came to spend time/Holliday with your grand children and I ..I still can't phantom it because it's really a hard pill to swallow..

Being an amazing person is an understatement..I learnt patience and tolerance from you..You were effortlessly kind, generous and accommodating..

Your prayer life was one I truly admired..I came from a home where my mom was always on her knees praying.. God still blessed me with a prayerful mother inlaw..

In every fruit season,I'll be the first to taste of it in Port Harcourt because you will send a big "Ghana must go bag" filled with different types of fruits.. phew! Mummy!!! It is well with me

Many thanks for the sincere love and care..I love and appreciate you even in death..

I really do miss you..

Ga nke oma

Kufre

Your daughter-in-law

TRIBUTE TO A VIRTUOUS WOMAN

In loving memory of a remarkable woman, Mrs. Ngozi Adimora, who touched the lives of many with her grace, kindness, and wisdom. As the mother of my esteemed and beloved colleague and friend, Dr. Nnamdi Adimora, she leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever be cherished.

Mrs. Adimora's gentle presence and nurturing spirit enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will continue to inspire us in our daily lives. May her memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time, and may her soul rest in eternal peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with my beloved friend, Dr. Nnamdi Adimora and his family as they mourn the loss of their beloved mother. May they find solace in the precious memories they shared and the love that surrounds them.

FAREWELL NOTE TO MY MOTHER (My Support System)

Dear Mum,

You know this hurts right? Why make me do it then?

I thought I was ready for anything after Dad left, but your departure has shown me that I was not prepared. Mama, finding the right words is difficult because nothing could have prepared me for this. Over the past weeks, I've been trying so hard to encourage myself to move forward, but it feels so challenging, Mum.

Thank you so much for loving me unconditionally, for your care, and for your prayers. Mum, it hurts that I didn't get the opportunity to properly thank you for all your labour of love, sacrifice, and prayers. Thank you so, so much for everything, Mum. You don't know how grateful I am for the gift of you and Dad.

For raising us right, thank you.

For every prayer said on our behalf, thank you.

For  being so accessible, thank you.

For the rebukes, correction, thank you.

For setting the pace, thank you.

For all the love you showered us, thank you.

For a humble and loyal life lived before us, thank you.

For all the years of service, thank you.

Mama me, all I have to say is thank you and nothing more. Forgive me, but it's really hard to say goodbye, so I won't say it now until I'm ready to.

Sleep on, Mum, just a few sleeping and waking, and then we all will be joined together to part no more. You have a full room in my heart, where all the memories are stored, and I will cherish them till my... VIEW FULL TRIBUTE

BIOGRAPHY OF LATE MRS NGOZI BESSIE ADIMORA

Mrs. Ngozi Bessie Adimora was born March 8, 1953 at Gboko, in Gboko LGA, Benue State, Nigeria. She is the 1st child of Late Pa. Wilfred and Florence Nwoye of Awarasi Village in Uga, in Aguata Local Government Area, of Anambra State.

Her early childhood and primary education started out in Gboko and Central School Ufuma shortly before the outbreak of the Nigerian civil war, and like that of many other children and families was truncated in May 1967 when the Nigerian civil war broke out. When the war was over, Ngo subsequently gained admission into Girls Secondary School, Onitsha (1969-1973). She will later enroll at Teachers Training College, Adazi (1973 - 1975) where she obtained her teaching certificate. Her love for education encouraged her to pursue further learning at Anambra State College of Education Awka where she obtained her NCE (1983 – 1986) and went further to University of Nigeria Nsukka (1989 – 1993) where she obtained her B.Ed. Degree in Education.

Ngo eventually became a teacher, and was employed by Anambra State Civil Service in 1975 rising through her successful career from a class room teacher to become a substantive headmaster and retired after 35 years of service in 2010. Due to her diligence, performance and quality of service delivery, the Anambra State Government through the former Governor Mr. Peter Obi appointed her as the Educational Secretary of Aguata Local Government Area in 2014, and she was reappointed by former Governor Chief Willie Obiano in 2015, after the team was dissolved, a position she successfully occupied for 4 years and finally retired in 2019.

Early in 1981, Ngo met the love of her life, her beloved husband Rev. Ugochukwu Adimora from the Adimora family of Umueze Village in Uga and on the 19th of December 1981, they were married at the St. Stephen Anglican Church, Asaba. They are blessed with three wonderful children; Dr. Nnamdi Adimora, Mrs. Adaugo Uzoigwe and Ms. Chinyere Adimora with the added blessings of seven grandchildren and a host of other foster children.

She was a true mother, loving grand-mother, leader, and a pastor’s wife, gentle, kind, loving, humble and very generous. She was full of Kindness and human compassion. Her life epitomized sacrifice and she served God devotedly with everything she had. She touched so many lives through her various acts and deeds and gave her best to living a decent and purposeful Christian Life. For her, nothing was too great to sacrifice for peace, family and true friendship.
