Tribute to my BELOVED BROTHER

I’ve been inflicted with a wound so deep, with a I difficult scar to erase. What then shall I say? I am heartbroken, shattered, disorganized and disconsolate. A brother whose love is unimaginable, very empathetic, kind hearted, compassionate and always ready to assist in time of need. My humble, amiable, soft-spoken gentle man. Where are you Obii? I've wailed, wailed and still wailing trying to call you back but couldn't. What then shall i do but to accept this fate that is so difficult to accept. As a servant of the most high, you had done so well in the eyes of men and above all in the eyes of God your creator before embarking on this trip that ended the way it did. You had an outstanding personality that endeared you to everyone. God your creator loves you. You will be missed by us all your siblings and family, the different churches of God where you served will miss you, St Paul's cathedral Ezeoke will miss you, your friends will miss you and your community as a whole will miss you.

Rest in the bossom of God your creator, till we meet. Your sister,

Stella (Sister)

TRIBUTE TO MY DARLING BROTHER

I found it very difficult to write this piece in morbid honor and remembrance of my baby I brother, whom I fondly called “Obi dimkpa”! Come to think of it, I can hardly remember why or when I began to call him “Obi dimkpa”.

However, one thing is sure. Such appellation must have been inspired by his spirit of maturity and over-performance, which placed him for above his age mates and peers! We shared a lot in common, a common literary and spiritual zeal and zest. You were cerebral, as much as I have been, and I am happy that I encouraged you to work and achieve the enviable academic feat that you achieved in research and publications. Oh, what a pain that death came when you were about ready to reap the fruits of both your academic and ecclesiastical endeavors. No regrets you may say and I cannot but agree with you: “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2).

Fare thee well beloved “Obi dimkpa”, until we meet in Heaven to part no more!! According to a sage “Death is a dream in a bigger dream”, and we shall all wake up in eternity, bye and bye. For now, you live on in our hearts and in the hearts of all that you have impacted.

With Love to My Celestial Being

Grief, an emotion that I have been forced to understand. The journey through grief is one where pain and beauty mingle. I am heartbroken, pained and angry because this situation is beyond my control, one that I can’t change. I am angry at the fact that life is about unpredictability, a series of long choices that God’s time and Fate makes for us without us knowing it, not knowing everything that could come your way be it good or bad, I guess that’s why we are humans if all is revealed to us then GOD would no longer be GOD. But in all the beauty of your memory I’ve chosen to accept that some things are out of my control. I’ve never been this confused in my life.

Death came early but I believe God is never late. I understand that GOD gives and GOD takes. When He gives you people love them as much as you can because one day He is going to want them back. Almighty father in heaven, I thank you not only because in every situation we ought to give you thanks and praise but for giving me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change and the wisdom to change the ones I can and also for giving me a father like daddy nke m nwere nani ya.

Dearest Daddy, I am thankful to God who gave you to me and you did everything within your power to make everyday count. You fought and... VIEW FULL TRIBUTE

Tribute to my Daddy

Daddy, I’m writing this with the hope that you would at least give me feedback. I never thought I would have to write this, at least not so soon but God’s time is beyond our understanding.

There is no expression that can do justice to how I feel. Nothing will ever fill this hole. The pain is unimaginable, but I have consolation knowing the faith you believed, taught, and brought us up in; that death and grief is only of this earth and there is eternal joy at the end. As we are only remembered in this world by our works, I can only say that the memory of you is not going away any time soon. You had a unique relationship with everyone you encountered.

You went out of your way to show love anywhere you thought love needed to be shown. You tended to the church as a shepherd tends his lamb. You nurtured us like little flowers and at the same time being the strong stem that kept us upright. I would never be able to repay you for all the sacrifices you made for us. We would not be where we are today without you, and I am sure a lot of people owe their success stories to you. I celebrate the life you lived because it was a perfect guide to navigate this world. I look back and all I can say is Daddy, THANK YOU.

Tribute to an exemplary father

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Our hearts still ache in sadness. For what it means to lose you no one will ever know. Daddy, we miss you.

Our father was always there for our mother, and they shared everything life could offer together. They were a great team supporting each other in every possible way as well as being there for their children. Our silent tears will flow each time we remember that you’re gone but your loving, caring, fatherly role and legacy will continue to give solace to our humble hearts. The morals and values you taught us will continue to be a guiding light in our lives. We will try our very best to live by the righteous virtues you’ve raised us with. We will always remember that charming smile of yours, that caring heart, and most importantly, the life lesson that ‘family is key’ and to always stay together through thick and thin, and to support, love and respect each other. This is indeed a painful loss, but since it has pleased the Lord, we believe that he will console all of us. DANIELIBEZIM (Opara nna ya) We are incredibly grateful to have spent our lives with you. You were a fighter. You fought this battle of life so well until you could fight no more because it was time. Daddy, we are proud of you and the life you lived and we will forever be proud of you. We will surely miss you. We... VIEW FULL TRIBUTE
